RENAULT CLIO 197 rally car
Renault Clio 197 2.0 Modified cams and giving around 220 tractable bhp. Just had a proper gearbox rebuild with modified synchromesh and a Quaife LSD fitted at the same time. A quality rear colour coded roll cage, Recaro front seats with 4 point harnesses colour coded. Sparko deep dish steering wheel, Cibi Oscar spotlights wired correctly. There are 8 genuine 197 alloys, 6 with Yokohama semi slicks (E marked) This is a very capable car, and in the right hands more than capable of wining in either Autosolo/road rally or a decent Targa rally. This is one very, very quick little car. The engine picks up with that sense of urgency that a well tuned engine does. The LSD puts the power down and the slick changing gearbox makes everything come together. She sticks to the road like glue and the handling balance is so enjoyable. With the 4 pot Brembos providing total confidence to really push on. Clio comes with spares. CUP suspension, front bumper, rear beam axle etc
